FX
This is my FX music loop created through an inspiration of many artists such as Unearth and MSI. I've been listening to alot of these two bands recently which inspired a fast guitar and bass that have a bit more chaotic of a melody than my previous post, but in a way that still keeps the calm drum lines in the background. The kick drum has a delay on it to fade in and out with a more techno beat to follow the guitar and bass which both have reverb for the effect of static and metal combining, as well as a slight amount of the phaser setting. The snare drum is also equipped with the phaser setting to match with the kick drum.

I Love the descending and acsending guitar/bass parts. The bass drum sounds great with the delay during the quieter parts. Theres a part in there that reminds me of some really nice dark techno, its short unfortunately and doesnt pop up much, but maybe you didnt hear it sounding so good on repeat. The static sound is amazing. I definately hear the MSI influence. The static also reminds me of the drums from Psyclon Nine. The overall peice sounds a bit random, but anticipating whats next in your music isnt always the nicest thing either. None the less I like it, good job.
ReplyDeleteThis is fairly long. I hear a lot of effects in this piece, and they are used properly. How did you use the static? That's a really great effect.
